In 2017, the festival will have more than 30 food stalls selling delicacies not only from countries far away, but also from our Asian neighbors. With a ¥1200 food ticket (online/early-bird) you can enjoy three meals of your choice - maybe something from another continent you have never tried before.

 

Visitors can enjoy various amazing performances on the stage and all around the festival area for free from 10:00 until 16:00. Furthermore, people will have many opportunities to take part in the many cultural happenings: i.e. games, traditional crafts and dances in International Interactive Corner. International Interactive Corner is a multicultural platform which organizes gatherings and fun activities for everybody, regardless of their age, gender or nationality - students, families, children and adults from any country are welcome to take part and create new experiences. We also have a Lucky Draw where you can win great prizes. Your food ticket contains your chance to win these prizes. The prizes come from all around the world!

The theme of the festival this year is “I am because you are”. TUFSA hopes to unite people from Sendai, Miyagi and Tohoku and remind everyone of the spirit of humaneness, since everyone has it in them and when we exhibit it we promote a flourishing human community. We, humans, are all, and all are one. (全は一、一は全)

With the Subway Tozai Line, access to the festival is very convenient. It is also easy to arrive in Kawauchi by using public transportation.
